Kabkab date क्या है?

Kabkab, Phoenix dactylifera L. date palm की एक cultivated variety या cultivar है।

Cultivar का अर्थ है खेती में पहचाना और बनाए रखा गया पौधों का एक विशिष्ट प्रकार। इसलिए Kabkab किसी भी dark date का सामान्य नाम नहीं है। यह packaging grade नहीं है और न ही ripeness stage का नाम है।

Kabkab southern Iran के date-growing regions से जुड़ा है। BAGHERI के लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण नाम Dashtestan है, जो Bushehr Province में स्थित है।

Origin केवल label पर लिखी एक line नहीं है। Grower के लिए origin temperature, water, soil, long summer, palm और local crop knowledge है।

2025 में प्रकाशित एक field study ने Dashtestan के Persian Gulf University research orchard में Kabkab cultivar की जांच की। Study site को semi-arid, hot-summer और calcareous-soil conditions वाला क्षेत्र बताया गया। क्षेत्रीय research Kabkab की Dashtestan और Borazjan में economic importance का भी उल्लेख करती है।

Dashtestan हमारे लिए marketing word नहीं है. हम सचमुच इसी landscape से आते हैं.

Kabkab dates कैसे दिखते हैं?

Mature Kabkab को आम तौर पर brown से deep brown colour से जोड़ा जाता है। लेकिन fruit अपने पूरे जीवन में dark brown नहीं रहता।

Ripening के साथ colour, texture, moisture और sugar characteristics बदलते हैं। इसीलिए एक yellow fruit on the palm और packaged dark date कभी-कभी अलग products लगते हैं, जबकि वे एक ही cultivar की अलग maturity stages हो सकते हैं।

Bushehr region के samples पर पुराने research descriptions ने Kabkab को long-to-oval fruit बताया और कुछ samples में लगभग 3.5–4 cm length report की। इसे universal commercial specification नहीं समझना चाहिए।

Kabkab का स्वाद कैसा होता है?

क्या Kabkab soft है या dry?
